Hello everyone! Vsem privet! My name is Olga, and I teach Russian. I strongly believe that practicing with a native speaker is the best way to really improve your language skills. As a native speaker, I can help you improve your pronunciation, build your vocabulary in accordance with the modern Russian language (without awkward ‘Russian’ words and phrases that you might often find in some learning materials issued by non-native speakers), and I can also explain the different cultural aspects of the Russian language. Although I teach grammar, listening, reading, and writing (which all are important, whatever you may say), I especially like to focus on conversational Russian. For this purpose, I utilize many kinds of interactive methods such as developing role plays and dialogues, making up stories based on pictures or texts, discussing different topics, and more. I believe that every student is different, so I design every my lesson keeping my students’ needs and interests in mind.
