Here at the Sixth Form College we already offer three different Modern Foreign Languages- French, German and Spanish at A Level. Maybe you have already studied one of these languages at your school and you wish to continue your studies here at the college. Perhaps you would like to start learning a language that you have not yet studied and want it to compliment your programme of study you could study French or Spanish as a beginner at GCSE level.

Studying a language course will allow you to develop your fluency and understanding of your chosen language. You will learn about the concerns which affect people?s lives in the countries that speak this language. Throughout all our language courses you will develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills extending your vocabulary as you progress through the course. For aural comprehension work, the department is equipped with a 20 booth language laboratory and makes extensive use of a wide range of ICT technologies.
