Itchen College is a community sixth-form college on the eastern side of Southampton which offers high quality courses to students of all ages.
Learning a foreign language is a complex business. Most people can use a few words, get by ordering a drink or saying hello. Speaking to "them" is ok. Its when they speak back that the problems start. Saying "I don't understand" slowly and loudly whilst waving your hands about doesn't usually help much. The Modern Languages Department at Itchen College has its own suite of rooms, including a well equipped language laboratory with satellite television links.
