Loughborough University has an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research, strong links with industry, and unrivalled sporting achievement. The Department of English and Drama is a dynamic and international body, with students not only from across the British Isles, but also Asia, North America and a dozen different countries on the European mainland. With around 500 undergraduate students, more than 70 postgraduate students (MA and Research), and over 30 staff, we are large enough to promote a wide range of activities and interests while still preserving a strong sense of community where formality is kept to a minimum.
