Comprehensive Reading

1 .- The student listens to me reading a text that does not exceed 10 lines without having the text in front of him. 2 .- The student listens to me reading the text again. This time the student has got the text in front of him. 3 .- I read the first paragraph and ask the student which words / expressions he doesn´t understand. 4 .- I explain what he does not understand simply and clearly using synonyms, antonyms and expressions/sentences with that unknown word. 5.- I do the same with the other paragraphs. 6 .- I read paragraph by paragraph and the student must read after me. 7 .- I correct the pronunctiation and I make him repeat the wordscorrectly. 8 .- I make questions about each paragraph when I finish reading it. 9 .- I read part of a paragraph and the student must complete it with the word/words he wants. 10 .- The student makes me questions about the content of the text and I correct it if necessary. 11 .- The student writes a summary of the text that will not exceed 3 lines. 12.- I correct the summary. 13 .- The student will say/write some sentences using the words / expressions in the text. 14 .- The student and I talk about the topic of the text.
