There are a number of excellent text books for learning Turkish. I work with the student(s) to choose one which best suits their needs. I employ plenty of oral drill and written exercises. I give frequent quizzes so students caI emphasize all four skiils. I provide a lot of drill at the elementary level and move to meaningful communication at the intermediate level. I use grammar translation method and I have had 6 students so far.I always make the students speak more than teacher because speaking is the most common form of communucation for language learners.I can fix the lessons according to learner's wish.If the learner wonders at what time we can do the lesson.It depens on learner's time table but it can be talked if the learner is determined to learn Turkish then it will be fixed easily.
